Things that Pandemic made me realize

Hi,

This post is written in a non-aesthetic manner. I mean in terms of alignment some realizations are just short and some came in big sentences. This may hamper your reading pace. But, what I can assure you is, they came from heart. On surface, it may seem like they came easy, the realizations. But, no. They came at a certain point in a certain way so that they could stay with me. I am glad I was at the receiving end. And I want to share it with you guys for selfish reasons. We are living in a give and take world, my friends. And I want to know some of your realizations. I like talking about such stuff. Simple. Here goes my list:

Being able to enjoy a song is a thing to be grateful for.

You love your family more than you think you do.

The basic work we do for existence is not so basic.

Can’t cook three times a day even to save my life.

Each and everyone of us is toxic.

Our wishes are not rooting from our heart or core. They are rooting from deprievment. We only wish to do those things that are a big no for us. We are all such kids, ugh.

Fighting makes us human. Not fighting but bottling up makes us trauma carriers.

When life corners you and everything comes collapsing only thing that can help you is breathing.

We all need to look at sky at least once a day. Coz maybe that’s where hope lives.

You can not save the whole world. But you can try saving the immediate world around you.

Having a go-to doctor is important.

Umm…..you call fall in love with working out.

In life, you will keep stumbling upon certain truths that are hard to accept. But nonetheless they are truths. Respect that and find ways to deal with it.

This is not our game.

Ta-da. That’s it.

Haruki Murakami wrote this in one his short stories ‘Samsa in love” and I loved it so much that it found a home in my diary. Also, helped me sail through this Pandemic (which is not yet over).
